Meet the Senseis

Sensei Megan Wren

3rd Dan

Sensei Megan Wren, 3rd Dan, has competed in numerous international and national events in her time.
Competing in both kata and Kumite. She has represented England at six World Championships and has achieved a tally of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in both Individual and team events.

She started karate at 6 years old and with every lesson she took, her love for the art grew. Under the guidance of Sensei Tricia Jordan, 6th Dan, she achieved her 1st Dan at the age of 15.

Going forward, she has formed the Ikigai Martial Arts Association, to pass on the knowledge and skills that she has learnt. To help inspire the next generation to become the best version of themselves. Providing them a club environement, that will always push them to believe in their dreams and provide them with the skills to achieve their goals in life.
